The Consortium Business Beyond Borders (hereinafter called The Consortium or the Consortium BBB), composed by EUROCHAMBRES, EMECA, UFI and LOW ASSOCIATES, has been established for the purpose of operating a project awarded by the European Commission for the organisation of “EU-Third Country B2B, C2C and C2B centred events at the occasion of major international fairs inside and outside the EU”

Access and users

Those who access the website becomes users, who fully and unreservedly accept each Term of Use listed herein, without prejudice to the specific conditions that may need to be applied if a user wishes to sign up for any of the services on offer on the website.

The Portal service is offered free of charge. However, the Consortium reserves the right to condition access to some services on prior user registration through completion of a User Registration Form, which is available to anyone who wishes to become as a registered user.

When a user is required to sign up as a registered user or to provide personal details to be able to access any of the specific services, the provisions set forth in the chapter on Safety and Protection of Personal Data shall apply to the collection and processing of such personal details.



To improve the features offered on the website, The Consortium reserves the right to modify, expand or temporarily discontinue the display, configuration, technical specifications, content and services on the website, at any time, unilaterally and without prior notice.



 The Consortium guarantees that all the content and services offered on respect the principle of human dignity, the principle of non-discrimination on grounds of race, sex, religion, opinion, nationality, disability or any other personal and social circumstance, as well as the principle of youth and child protection.


Terms of Use

The USER undertakes to make proper use of the content and services on, which may never be used for illicit activities or actions which may be contrary to public order, national defence or public health. Any use by the user of the content and services must respect the principles listed in the preceding paragraph.

Registering for the services as a registered user

The data for completing the Registration Form are provided freely and voluntarily, and for this reason they must be true and reflect the user’s real situation.

The USER undertakes to make diligent use of, and not to reveal to third parties his or her username and password, and to inform the Consortium as soon as possible of the loss, theft or any risk of a third party gaining access to such data.

When signing up as a registered user, the user agrees that his or her personal data and/or any other data provided may be processed in an automated or manual way.


Personal data protection

The Consortium guarantees the security and confidentiality of the personal data you provide us as a USER of and to use those data for the purposes of the Business Beyond Borders Project.

Unless otherwise stated on the website forms asking for the user’s data, the sole purpose for collecting and processing personal data is to manage the information provided in the enquiries, subscription of services, that the user submits to The Consortium through the website, to ensure compliance with the website’s Terms of Use and fulfil legal obligations applicable thereto.

The data obtained are subject to the security measures and privacy policy approved by the Consortium according to the regulations in force at any given time.

In accordance with articles 9 and following of the Belgian Law dated on 8 December 1992 of the Private Life with regard to the treatment of personal data, you may exercise your rights at any time to access, rectify, cancel or oppose your personal data, by written letter affixed with a copy of your National Identification Card or Passport.

Through you can access and change at any time the personal data gathered as a result of the relations with the Consortium which are included in computer files, to manage your contact.


Consent for the use of electronic means for communication

In accordance with the provisions of Belgian Law dated on 11th March 2003 on Information Society and e-Commerce Services, we hereby inform you that The Consortium may send you information by electronic means with information of the Project BBB, if you have authorised us expressly when you provided your data.

You shall be entitled to cancel this authorisation at any time at the address and via the link enabled for this purpose in the communications you receive.


Security measures 

Access to the transactional pages through which the user signs up for the Consortium services takes place in a secure environment. To confirm that you are at a website belonging to the Consortium check that the words Consortium Business Beyond Borders appear in the upper status line. You can also check that you are in a secure environment by looking at the URL address shown in properties (clicking the right mouse button). The URL address begins with https”, where the “s” shows that the contents are offered by a safe server.
