Back in November, Business Beyond Borders (BBB) was present at TRUSTECH Cannes, the go-to fair in Europe for the ICT and digital services community. During the course of its 2-day programme, the BBB matchmaking sessions helped SMEs and clusters connect and find potential business partners.
Vladimir Oleynich, Head of the Executive Office of Insignia Cards Company (IGC) – a travel-related services provider and payment cards issuer – , has been visiting TRUSTECH for many years but this year was his first time taking part in the BBB matchmaking event. In Mr. Oleynich’s own words, “BBB is my guide here at TRUSTECH Cannes, helping me navigate through such a perfect storm”.
Based in the UK, Insignia Cards Company started up in 1996 as a payment card service provider and over the course of all these years grew into an all-encompassing lifestyle management group. In order to keep delivering a top-notch service and high-quality products for their customers, Mr. Oleynich was seeking to make contacts with third party providers to complement their services: “We are looking for some outsourcing service providers in IT and mobile, as well as consulting services for the upcoming PSD2 changes”.When asked about his impressions on the added-value of BBB, Mr. Oleynich offered high praise for this EC-funded initiative : “The scale of this type of fairs is huge and a bit overwhelming, but activities like BBB help you focus, so I hope it will grow and cover more events like TRUSTECH.”
